We are so grateful for your generous donations to the Guayaquil Girls Shelter Christmas fundraiser that enabled C.I.R.F. aftercare coordinators Chris and Rachel in cooperation with our partner, the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES) to deliver the first round of Christmas festivities to the shelter on 12/9/22 that included 38 pairs of new shoes, clothing, medications, hygiene items, games, activities, a Christmas tree and more. We still have more shopping to do for these lovely young women in need and are planning a second delivery closer to Christmas with any more donated funds. Many of the faces of the girls are concealed to protect their identities as they are survivors of extreme violence. One of the young women is a recent C.I.R.F. child trafficking rescue who was freed in cooperation with the Ecuadorian National Police and Attorney General's Office. Our work is high-risk and costly please consider supporting our mission.
